Our Law Firm

We aim to be compassionate towards the interest of our clients, understand their objectives, and meet or exceed their expectations in the most cost-effective way. We work hard to provide superior legal services to our clients on a timely and effective basis whilst maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity.

We are Virtual, Paperless, and powered by new Technology

We are a virtual and 100% online-based law firm serving all of Ontario. Without the hassle of commutes and queues, clients love the convenience of having their legal issues addressed from the comfort of their homes or office by video or telephone.

As a paperless firm, we recognize that by eliminating paper we improve organization, simplify document search and replication, and enhance security through automatic backups and encryption, all contributing to a streamlined workflow and reduced costs in favor of the client. Where allowed by the Rules, documentation, and signatures are all done digitally, enabling us to get to work on your matter right away.

We are backed by new technology available to run an efficient modern law practice. Our clients see what’s going on through their client portal, including billing matters, and legal documents, and safely send or receive messages. This promotes transparency and convenience in communicating with us.

As much as we love technology, we also love meeting people. For those times that we need to meet in person, we can set a meeting at 16 Industrial Parkway S, Aurora, ON L4G 0R4, just a few steps away from the Go Train Station in Aurora.

Our Story

From the Medieval Latin word 'advocare' ('to add' a 'voice') means to plead a case or a cause, to argue that something needs to be changed or improved.

For us, lawyering means ‘advocare’: to advocate with care.

Advocare Law was founded on the basis of our core values: Honour, Privilege, Duty, and Responsibility.

Section 21(1) of By-Law 4, Law Society of Ontario sets out the required oath for an applicant for the issuance of a license to practise law in Ontario. The first sentence of the oath reads: “I accept the honour and privilege, duty and responsibility of practising law as a barrister and solicitor in the Province of Ontario.”

Our core values serve to remind us of our oath and all that it embodies.
